HACC PROGRAM
The Home and Community Care Program is jointly funded by the Commonwealth and State Governments. It provides community services for older people, adults with a disability and the carers of these people. Most people value being able to live independently at home; however, some persons may find this difficult without the assistance of family, friends and/or formal services. Access to formal services is based on an assessment of a person's needs. Services provided by HACC include: Centre Based and In Home Respite Care, domestic assistance, personal care, home maintenance and modification, transport, food services, community nursing, allied health services, advocacy and social support. Aspley HACC provides Centre Based and In Home Respite and referrals to other HACC and non-HACC agencies. |
